The Timing of Life

Hello and welcome to BVTimingLLC!

We started this adventure in 2016 while Robert was teaching in Brevard County through fellow teachers and coaches in Florida, we discovered a need for cross country and track timing.

Carolina Buenaventura was born for timing. Carolina is originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador where she competed as a 200 meter, 500 meter and Keirin sprint cyclist from 2002 to 2010. She was ranked 8th in the world; competing in several tours with the Union Cycliste Internationale as well as World Championships in South Africa in 2008, and in the 2007 Pan American Games. She is a former team member of the 2008 Ecuador Olympic team. After an accident in the 2010 Pan American games, Carolina turned her attention to academics where she received her degree in Sports Medicine. Carolina is currently the sprint coach for Melbourne High School and a licensed physical therapist.

Robert has left the teaching profession but timing allows him to give back and be involved in the community. He is a GIS systems administrator, with a Masters of Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and has lived in Florida for 20 years. After conversations with friends in Brevard County, he and Carolina started BVTimingLLC in 2017.
